Lance Tillison brought Iowa a long, versatile defensive back — but current 2026 impact data isn’t available
Tillison is an Iowa alum whose official Hawkeye career lists him at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds as a linebacker by 2010-11, after earlier seasons as a defensive back, which hints at the kind of size-versatility Iowa loves on defense. His Hawkeye stats show a modest on-field role during his college career, with 15 total tackles and one interception return for 27 yards in career numbers, so the appeal is more about traits than box-score production. If you value length, positional flexibility, and a rugged Big Ten frame, he fits the profile; if you need an instant-stat star, this isn’t that story.
