Dual-Threat RB with Elite Kickoff Return Speed for Colorado State
Derek Good stands out as Colorado State’s most versatile offensive weapon, not just for his 6.6-yard-per-carry average on 15 attempts (99 yards) but for his elite speed as a kickoff returner—ranking fourth in the Mountain West with a 24.3-yard average on 32 returns (778 total yards). Unlike typical RBs, Good combines backfield grit with open-field explosiveness, displaying rare stamina and intensity that keeps him fresh late in games. He has no reported injury history, maintains a high-energy personality that elevates team morale, and thrives in ball-control schemes. While he hasn’t scored a TD yet (0 TDs, 28 carries, 151 yards), his consistency and return-game value make him a perfect fit for teams needing a dynamic, two-way contributor who can shift momentum instantly.
