seasoned interior OL with strength, steadiness, and clear development traits
Silva is a rugged, technically improving offensive lineman whose best calling card has been consistency: at FIU in 2004 he started all 10 games at right guard, was graded at 80–85% for the season, and helped the Panthers allow only nine sacks while powering a 1,000-yard rusher. FIU described him as one of the strongest players on the team, which points to the kind of functional strength and edge teams want in the trenches. He fits best as a reliable, physical interior blocker who can help stabilize a run game.
