experienced SUU cornerback with a long, under-the-radar track record
Chase Stephens has been on the Southern Utah radar for years as a defensive back, with SUU listing him as a 6-0 cornerback who appeared in games as early as the 2015 season and recorded an assisted tackle that year. What makes him interesting is the developmental arc: he’s a legit length-and-frame corner with proven roster longevity, which usually signals trust from a staff and a player who can handle the grind. Publicly available current stat detail is thin, so the best read is that he profiles as a steady, system-fit DB rather than a flashy headline grabber.
