Horizon League Star Guard with Elite Scoring Intensity
Shawn Amiker, the Youngstown State guard from Oak Park, Michigan, is a differentiator defined by his explosive scoring bursts and relentless bench energy. In the 2014-15 season, he averaged 11.6 points and 5.7 rebounds while scoring in double figures 21 times, including a career-high 20 points in just 18 minutes against South Dakota. His differentiator isn't just stats; it's his 'comeback' intensity after the holiday break and a personality that thrives off the bench, turning limited minutes into team-high rebounds and near-perfect shooting (8-of-9). He is a perfect fit for teams needing a high-intensity, versatile guard who can score efficiently and rebound aggressively without needing 30 minutes a game.
