Nicholls’ Lilianna Robledo Brings Reliable Middle-Infield Defense and Contact-First Value
Robledo projects as a dependable, glove-first shortstop/third baseman who adds some contact ability and versatility, making her the kind of player coaches can plug into the infield and trust on game day. Nicholls listed her as a sophomore on the 2024 roster, and the program’s 2024 stats show she appeared in conference play, including a hit and run-scoring contribution in a 2026 matchup against Houston Christian, which suggests she can impact a game in smaller ways even when she is not the headline bat. Her profile points to a right-handed infielder with strong defensive fit and roster flexibility, appealing to teams that value steadiness, positional coverage, and competitive edge over pure power.
