Versatile OL Anchor with Elite Intensity and Eagle Scout Discipline
Garrett Reden stands out as a uniquely versatile Offensive Lineman for BYU, having earned critical reps playing both left tackle (with 1s and 2s) and center (primarily with 2s) during spring drills, showcasing the adaptability teams desperately need[5]. Beyond his physical 6-3, 275-lb frame, Reden’s differentiators are his relentless intensity and disciplined personality traits: he is an Eagle Scout who served a Church mission in New York City and is one of nine children, reflecting a deep-rooted team-first mentality and leadership that statistics can’t capture[6]. While he has no significant injury history noted, his 'strong performance' in the 2024 season earned him preseason recognition and a spot on the Mannelly Award watch list, signaling he is a top-tier fit for any team seeking a high-intensity, multi-position OL anchor who brings elite character and reliability[1][2]. You should care because Reden combines rare positional flexibility with the kind of disciplined, mission-driven intensity that elevates an entire offensive unit, making him an ideal fit for teams prioritizing both performance and culture.
