a compact, tough-minded Redhawks back with proven production
In the 2014 season, Lennies McFerren was a senior RB for Southeast Missouri State and totaled 607 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns, while earlier reports described him as a 5'9", 196-pound back who also helped as a returner[1][2][11]. He looks like a physical, experienced grinder with versatility and a long football background, including a family tie to Southeast, which adds a nice little Redhawks circle-of-life twist[1]. The fit question: if a team wants a dependable, mature back who can absorb contact and contribute in multiple phases, McFerren checks that box[1][11].
