promising Hawaii DB, but current impact is still hard to pin down
A.J. Martinez is listed on Hawaii’s football roster as a defensive back, but the available roster data doesn’t show clear 2026 production or stat-leader impact yet. For a fit, the interesting part is upside: a defensive back at Hawaii who can earn value through special teams, depth, and developmental growth rather than just headline numbers. What stands out here is less proven box-score output and more the possibility of becoming a reliable, assignment-sound piece if he keeps climbing the chart.
