DJ Walker is a steady, high-usage playmaker in Ohio’s secondary
Walker profiles as a reliable, downhill free safety who has become a major anchor for Ohio after a breakout 2024 and captain-level 2025 season. In 2025, he started all 13 games, posted 61 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and a pass breakup, and Ohio listed him as one of its defensive captains. He stands out for range, zone awareness and durability more than flash—EA rates him highly in acceleration, stamina, toughness and zone coverage. That combination makes him a strong fit for teams needing a smart, assignment-sound defensive back who can tackle and communicate.
