Bozeman-built Bobcat with special-teams grit and safety versatility
Will Martel’s value has always been more about reliability, toughness, and team-first snap-to-snap play than flashy box-score numbers. Montana State has listed him as a safety/DB who has contributed as a reserve and special-teams staple, and in earlier roster notes he was described as a player expected to help on kick coverage while competing for defensive reps. A Bozeman native with local roots and a blue-collar background, Martel’s appeal is the kind coaches love: steady, physical, and willing to do the dirty work that keeps defenses humming.
