Justin Szymanski brings middle-of-the-order pop and proven run production to Northwestern State
Szymanski profiles as a physical first baseman with real offensive juice: in 2025 at South Arkansas, he hit .415 with 16 home runs, 21 doubles, 59 RBIs, and earned NJCAA Division II honorable mention All-American honors. Northwestern State lists him at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, and his prior production suggests a hitter who can impact the ball with extra-base power rather than just grind out at-bats. He also brings some upside as a high-character transfer, backed by a 3.5 GPA and President’s List recognition, which makes him a fit for a program looking for reliable, mature run production.[1][3]
