Big-frame lefty with real strikeout flashes, but health and command are the swing factors
In the 2025 season, Clemson LHP Noah Samol flashed swing-and-miss upside in a limited role, posting 14 strikeouts in 11.1 innings with a 4.76 ERA before another injury cut his year short; he also showed sharper command in a midweek 2026 outing, striking out 6 in 3.2 scoreless innings without walking a batter. At 6-foot-7, he brings a power lefty look that can play well against lineups, but his value depends on staying healthy and repeating that improved strike-throwing. If your team wants upside and mound presence, he’s intriguing; if you need durability now, the risk is still real.
