Perfect 5-for-5 Shooting Spark for Morehead State in 2008
In the 2008 season, freshman John Lamb delivered a standout performance off the bench for Morehead State, shooting a perfect 5-for-5 (including 4-for-4 from beyond the arc) in a 62-53 win, showcasing elite shooting accuracy and instant scoring impact as a 6-2, 185-pound guard. His differentiators include unmatched intensity in clutch moments, a fearless mentality that thrives under pressure, and a natural ability to read defenses for quick, high-percentage shots—traits that make him a high-value fit for teams needing reliable perimeter scoring. Though he later redshirted at Iowa State in 2010 and played only one game there, his early college intensity and shooting pedigree remain his defining strengths, making him a compelling prospect for teams prioritizing shooting efficiency and bench energy.
