Ronald Young Jr. brings compact, workhorse energy to Prairie View A&M’s backfield
In the 2023 season, Ronald Young Jr. logged 18 carries for 48 rushing yards, plus 1 reception for 16 yards, and Prairie View A&M’s roster lists him at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds with a stated best game of 277 yards and 2 touchdowns on 36 carries[1][2]. His profile points to a physical, downhill runner with enough versatility to catch the ball, and the “RJ” note plus the 277-yard outburst suggest a player who can handle volume when the offense leans his way[1]. The stat line is modest, but the upside is clear if your team wants a sturdy back who can absorb contact and create momentum between the tackles[2].
