Arizona’s ultimate walk-on glue guy
In the 2008-09 season, David Bagga was a low-usage Arizona guard whose value came less from box-score fireworks and more from toughness, size, and a team-first mindset; Arizona’s own bio described him as a walk-on with the ability to play multiple positions and a tremendous work ethic. He was praised as unselfish and hard-working, and his most memorable late-game moment came when he hit a 3-pointer in his final home game against Stanford. He looks like the kind of player who lifts a locker room, competes in practice, and gives a coach dependable, no-drama minutes.
