In the 2025 season, Mays Pese flashed real freshman-impact juice for Arizona, posting 24 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks while playing all 12 games and earning a 2026 Polynesian College Player of the Year watch-list nod. Arizona’s roster now lists him at 6-foot-3 and 288 pounds as a sophomore, and that size-plus-motor combo is the big selling point: he can hold up inside, kick out to defensive end, and already looks like a dependable snap-eater with upside. If your team wants a young DL who plays with edge and is still growing into his frame, he’s a very interesting fit.
