Rashad Lampkin brings veteran depth and proven burst to Illinois State's backfield
Lampkin is a compact, physical running back who has shown he can create efficient production when healthy, highlighted by a 2023 season at Augustana with 325 rushing yards on 63 carries and two scores after earlier injury disruption at Illinois State. His appeal is versatility: he can handle interior contact, contribute as a receiver, and bring an experienced, low-drama presence to a rotation. For a team looking for a dependable depth back who understands roles and has already produced across multiple levels, he looks like a steady fit rather than a headline-grabber.
