Carson Jones brings proven poise and comeback juice to Furman’s QB room
In the 2024 season, Carson Jones showed he can handle real responsibility at Furman, completing 69 of 107 passes for 642 yards with 2 touchdowns, and he’s already built a résumé of clutch moments, including the game-winning throw in Furman’s 2023 title-clinching win at Chattanooga. The big differentiator: he’s not just a stat-line quarterback—he’s earned starts, produced efficiently in spurts, and has a reputation for stepping in calmly when the moment gets loud. If you want a composed, experienced field general with upside in a proven system, he’s absolutely worth a look.
