Micah Blount brings veteran edge-setting toughness to Savannah State
Micah Blount’s profile is that of a long, experienced defensive end who was a preseason All-MEAC Third Team selection in 2013 and had 37 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in the 2012 season for Savannah State.[5][1] At 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds in 2013, he offered obvious length and leverage on the edge, plus enough production to matter in the backfield.[1] The bigger selling point is the feel of a dependable, coachable veteran: Savannah State’s staff described the defensive line as deep, with Blount among the returning starters, which points to trust and consistency.[5]
