Jake Quinn brings rare five-tool upside to Minnesota’s outfield
Jake Quinn is a 6-foot-3, left-handed-hitting outfielder for Minnesota who entered college with a reputation for five-tool upside, including hit tool, power, 6.4 speed, and arm strength that has been clocked up to 93 mph from the outfield[5]. In the 2026 season, he logged limited action but flashed impact with a two-RBI double in a 24-2 win over St. Thomas and finished with three hits in five at-bats, while still carrying three years of eligibility remaining[4][6][8]. He looks like a hometown upside play: high ceiling, athletic, and worth betting on if you want development and loud tools[5][10].
