Tulane DL Wallace Mateen brings veteran disruption and a nose for turnovers
Mateen profiles as the kind of defensive lineman coaches trust: active, physical, and disruptive, with a track record at Tulane of making plays behind the line and recovering fumbles. He may not be a headline-grabbing stat machine, but his value is in steadiness, leverage, and game-to-game reliability on the interior. If you want a DL who can anchor, chase, and create chaos without needing the spotlight, he looks like a fit.
