Cobie Durant is a feisty, playmaking DB who outperformed small-school expectations
Cobie Durant’s profile is built on **ball production, quick processing, and competitive toughness**—the traits that helped him rise from South Carolina State to the NFL and later earn the 2025 NFLPA Black College Football Pro Player of the Year honor. He brings value as a **versatile, instinctive defensive back** who can create turnovers and make open-field stops, though his smaller frame means teams will want him in a scheme that maximizes coverage savvy and anticipation rather than pure press-man power. For a roster needing an aggressive, high-energy secondary piece, he’s a strong fit.
