Proven UMass linebacker with a legacy of disruption and production
Mike Ziccardi is a notable UMass linebacker whose profile points to a defense-first fit: the Minutemen record book credits him with 18.0 career sacks, which signals real pass-rush impact from the second level rather than just steady tackling. That kind of production suggests an aggressive, high-motor defender who can affect games behind the line and bring pressure-value to a front seven. If you want an LB who can attack downhill and create negative plays, Ziccardi stands out as a strong schematic fit.
