Colorado Buffs LB with Early Promise, Now a D2 Standout
Christian Shaver burst onto the Colorado Buffaloes scene in 2016 as a junior linebacker, starting against Idaho State and notching 7 tackles including his first career sack in a thrilling UCLA win—showcasing explosive edge rush ability from his high school days (59 tackles, 6.5 sacks at Jordan HS in 2013-14). A special teams ace in 2015 with intensity and football IQ beyond his stats, he's since transferred to CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves in D2, embodying relentless motor and blue-collar grit ideal for teams needing versatile, high-effort defenders who thrive in big moments.
