Alexis Whittington brings veteran defense and steady perimeter shooting to Middle Tennessee
Whittington is a mature, high-minute guard whose value goes beyond scoring: ESPN lists her at 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, while Middle Tennessee notes she earned C-USA All-Defensive Team honors and set the program record for career games played, which points to reliability, toughness, and trust from the staff.[2][6] She also has a proven clutch touch from deep, highlighted by a buzzer-beating three for MTSU, making her a fit for teams that need experienced two-way guard play, composure, and dependable energy.[3][1]
