Reliable, balanced TE with proven CAA production
John Fitzgerald is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end whose profile is built on dependable receiving and strong all-around value rather than flash. In 2020-21 at Richmond, he led all CAA tight ends with 14 catches for 131 yards and a touchdown, earned First Team All-CAA honors, and was named preseason All-CAA the following year, signaling league-level respect for his consistency and blocking reputation. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a sturdy, assignment-sound TE who can contribute in the passing game and help the offense function cleanly. [5][4]
