Toledo CB Desmond Bernard: Experienced, compact defender with special-teams value
Desmond Bernard is a **5-9, 190-pound** cornerback at Toledo whose profile is built on versatility, toughness, and roster value rather than flash; Toledo’s roster lists him at CB, and he appeared in five games in 2018 with two tackles, while recruiting profiles note he was tracked as a defensive back/receiver type from Lexington, Kentucky[2][3][4]. He is the kind of player who can fit a team that values physicality, depth, and competitive effort, especially if you want a compact defensive back who has already shown he can contribute in limited action and bring a social-work mindset off the field[2].
