Matt Doan brings sturdy depth and interior toughness to CMU’s offensive line
Matt Doan is listed by Central Michigan in the 2026 roster as a 6-foot-1, 295-pound redshirt freshman OL from Romeo, Michigan, with prior experience at Ferris State[1]. His profile suggests a compact, leverage-friendly blocker built more for punch, balance, and interior power than flash, and that kind of frame usually matters in MAC trench play[1]. The biggest reason to care: he looks like a developmental line piece with room to grow into a reliable fit if CMU wants grit, toughness, and positional versatility up front[1].
