Aaron Gilbert brings trench value to San Jose State with a low-profile, defense-first profile
Aaron Gilbert is listed on San Jose State’s 2026 football roster as a defensive tackle, but the available public information is thin, so the clearest takeaway is that he fits the classic interior-line mold: a body built to absorb contact, clog running lanes, and do the unglamorous work that helps a defense function. With no reliable public stat trail in the search results, his appeal is less about flashy numbers and more about whether a team values size, effort, and role discipline in the middle of the front.
