Lisa Takata adds veteran guard savvy and pace control to Long Beach State
Lisa Takata is a steady, defense-minded guard whose value shows up in the small stuff: ball pressure, composure, and getting teammates organized. Publicly available current-season stat pages do not show a detailed 2025-26 individual line for her, so the cleanest read is that she profiles as a glue player rather than a volume scorer. Her appeal is fit: if a team wants a low-drama guard who competes hard, keeps the offense calm, and helps elevate the collective IQ, Takata is the kind of player coaches trust.
