Rodney Tisdale Jr. is WKU’s young, efficient spark at quarterback
In the 2025 season, Rodney Tisdale Jr. emerged as a high-ceiling, freshman quarterback for Western Kentucky, flashing accuracy, poise, and real big-play ability with 1,187 passing yards, 9 touchdowns, and a 67.3% completion rate. He’s especially intriguing because his best games showed him operating with confidence and rhythm in WKU’s offense, including a 301-yard, 4-TD breakout against New Mexico State. At 6-foot-2 and around 190 pounds, he brings a solid frame and a quickly rising profile, but his 5 interceptions show he’s still learning the position’s fine print.
