Darnell Bolding brings experienced edge presence to NIU’s defensive front
Darnell Bolding is a Northern Illinois defensive end with proven production and steady disruption ability, highlighted by a career-best 26 tackles, 1 sack, and 2.5 tackles for loss in his NIU season. His value is less about flash and more about reliability: he showed up in 11 games with at least one stop, suggesting a dependable motor and rotational depth that coaches can trust. For a team needing a physical, assignment-sound edge player who can contribute without needing the spotlight, Bolding looks like a practical fit.
