a name to watch, but the 2026 QB picture at Prairie View A&M is crowded
Jamaal Foster is listed with Prairie View A&M, but current 2026 reporting shows the Panthers’ quarterback battle is still unsettled, with multiple experienced passers competing for the job and no starter named yet[1][2]. That makes Foster an intriguing watch-more-than-assume prospect: if he wins reps, he’ll need to separate himself with command, poise, and consistency, not just arm talent. The upside is obvious for a QB in a program fighting for October traction; the caution is that, right now, his path to snaps appears far from guaranteed[1][2].
