Penn State’s lefty workhorse with sneaky upside
In the 2025 season, Morash made 10 mound appearances and five starts for Penn State, striking out 14 in 21 innings while earning Academic All-Big Ten honors. He’s a left-handed pitcher with a sturdy 6-foot, 200-pound frame, and his appeal is less about eye-popping dominance right now than about versatility, strike-throwing, and value as a multi-inning option who can start or relieve. His earlier Penn State seasons showed more swing-and-miss and depth potential, so he fits best as a developmental arm with polish, competitiveness, and room to grow into a bigger role.
