Reliable Fresno State DB with a tackling profile that pops
Alvarez brings a sturdy 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame and a production-first résumé, with Fresno State listing him as a DB and noting 214 tackles over two seasons plus five fumble recoveries and four forced fumbles in his prep career[2]. That combination suggests a physical, disruptive defensive back who fits teams that value run support, open-field tackling, and ball production over pure track-speed flash[2]. The main question for evaluators is whether his coverage ceiling matches his contact intensity, but his stat line points to a defender who can make an immediate, assignment-sound impact[2].
