veteran TCU tight end with a blue-collar blocking edge
Carter Ware is a seasoned, team-first tight end for TCU who has carved out a role through reliability, physicality, and blocking prowess rather than flashy receiving numbers. In TCU’s 2026 roster, he’s listed as a senior at 6-foot-4, 265 pounds, and earlier coverage described him as a preferred walk-on who earned a starting job by playing tough, assignment-sound football. His biggest differentiator is steady, credible run-game value — the kind of dependable, no-drama tight end coaches trust when they want grit over glamour.
