a versatile Oregon linebacker with proven tackle production
Swain brings real linebacker utility: at Oregon, he was a highly regarded recruit who earned early snaps, handled multiple roles, and showed he could fill up a stat sheet, including 77 tackles in the 2016 season and 65 tackles in the 2017 season. His calling card was versatility and trustworthiness—coaches used him in different spots when injuries hit, and that usually means football IQ, toughness, and a low-maintenance fit. If your team needs a steady, assignment-sound defender who can adapt quickly, Swain is exactly the kind of glue guy you want in the room.
