Ethan Downum brings two-way upside and award-level bat-to-ball production to Tarleton State
Downum is a left-handed outfielder with legitimate two-way athleticism and a resume that suggests he can impact a lineup quickly: Tarleton lists him as a 2024 District Offensive Player of the Year, a 2023 Second-Team All-State outfielder, and a former top-75 national outfield prospect. At 6-foot, 155 pounds, he profiles as a lean, high-upside player whose strengths are speed, range, and competitive polish; his National Honor Society background also points to a disciplined, coachable fit. He looks like a strong fit for teams valuing projection, contact ability, and versatility.[4][2]
