Ben Niednagel is the Falcons’ steady, high-contact sparkplug
In the 2026 season, Air Force infielder Ben Niednagel has been one of the Falcons’ most reliable all-around bats, hitting .348 with 72 hits, 15 doubles, 5 triples, 5 home runs, 34 RBIs, and 25 stolen bases while starting every game he played. He also posted a 14-game hitting streak and has shown real versatility: solid gap power, speed on the bases, and dependable middle-infield defense. He looks like a tough, competitive fit for any lineup that values consistency, athleticism, and a player who can impact a game in more than one way.
