Maine QB Michael McMaugh is an intriguing redshirt freshman with size and upside
McMaugh enters 2026 as a **6'3", 210-pound** redshirt freshman quarterback at Maine with no published college game stats yet, so the appeal is projection rather than production. His profile suggests a developmental QB worth watching: he brings prototypical size, comes from competitive prep settings, and has multi-positional athletic background on Hudl, which can hint at mobility and adaptability. If you want an immediate stat sheet star, he is not that yet; if you want a longer-term QB with physical tools and room to grow, he’s a reasonable fit to monitor.
