Dalton Cochran brings veteran edge-setting experience to Gardner-Webb
Dalton Cochran is a 6-foot-1, 246-pound redshirt senior defensive end for Gardner-Webb, and his calling card is veteran depth with special-teams value and edge-setting size. In the 2016 season, he appeared in nine games and contributed snaps at DE and on special teams; in the 2015 season, he played in six games and recorded one tackle. The fit question: he looks like a grinder who can help a room with experience, toughness, and reliability rather than flashy stat production.
