7-1 Rim-Protecting Anchor with OVC Block Prowess
At 7-1 and a wiry 190 lbs, Eric Rustin stands out as UT Martin Skyhawks' defensive specialist, ranking 6th in the OVC with 1.2 blocks per game in 2020-21 while chipping in 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds across 16 games; his high school dominance at Huguenot (7.0 RPG, 6.6 PPG in 2017-18) highlights rebounding instincts and length that translate to college paint protection. Ideal for teams needing a shot-altering big who brings athleticism and upside, though limited scoring demands complementary scorers—watch for his raw potential post-Virginia Union stint.
