David Holston remains a crafty, high-assist veteran guard for Dijon
Holston is still a compact, experienced lead guard who drives offense with elite passing, strong efficiency, and reliable scoring touch; in 2024-25, he averaged 13.7 points and 5.9 assists in France’s top league, and in the 2024-25 FIBA Europe Cup he posted 9.0 points and 5.0 assists while shooting 39.7% from three. His value goes beyond box scores: he’s a poised pick-and-roll organizer with long-term high-level European production, but at 38 he’s more of a steady connector than a high-usage engine, so he fits best on teams that need savvy creation and decision-making rather than pure athletic burst.
