Martin Salazar brings size and disruptive flashes to Portland State’s defensive line
Salazar is a compact interior DL at 5'10", 285 pounds who has shown disruptive upside in limited action, including a sack and forced fumble as a freshman and three tackles with a tackle for loss plus another forced fumble in 2022. He appears to be a high-effort, physical rotational piece rather than a volume-stat defender, and his early injury interruption is worth noting when projecting durability and development. If you want an undersized-but-active interior defender who can create splash plays, he is worth a look.[1]
