Veteran CFL Linebacker with Proven Tackling Pedigree from Northwestern State
Jamall Johnson, a Northwestern State Demons alum (pre-2005), carved out a solid CFL career with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions, amassing 66 defensive tackles, 56 special teams stops, 7 sacks, and 3 INTs over 42+ games through 2014. His relentless special teams intensity and blue-collar work ethic made him a coach's dream, excelling in coverage and run support without elite athleticism. No notable injury history; reliable depth player. Ideal fit for teams needing gritty, experienced LB/special teamer in pro or lower-division college setups—think dependable rotational asset over flashy starter.
