Oakland’s steady leadoff spark with legit all-league impact
Brooklyn Plitz has been a reliable top-of-order force for Oakland, pairing speed, on-base pressure, and real contact ability with recognition as a Horizon League All-League honoree in 2026. In the 2026 season, she hit .341 with 44 hits, scored often, stole 12 bases, and delivered a 5-for-5 game against IU Indy, showing she can flip a game with both consistency and burst. She also brings academic discipline and outfield value, making her a smart fit for teams that want a high-IQ, high-energy spark plug.
