Rising Forward with High-Intensity Drive for SC State Lady Bulldogs
De'Mean Bond, a forward for the South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs, stands out not just for her 8-point scoring bursts in key games (2020 season) but for her relentless intensity and team-first mentality that elevates the squad’s defensive presence. While not a statistical leader in rebounds or assists, Bond differentiates herself through her physicality, consistent effort in transition, and ability to absorb pressure in tight matchups—traits that make her a reliable fit for teams needing grit and resilience. No major injury history is reported, and her personality is described as focused and coachable, making her a strong cultural addition. Though she ranks outside the top 5 in MEAC stats, her growth trajectory and intensity level suggest she’s a player to watch in the 2025-26 season.
