ODU's 2010 CB Standout with Pick-Six Flair
Donald Smith shone as a key defensive leader for the Old Dominion Monarchs in 2010, tallying 48 tackles (28 solo) and ranking second on the team with 3 interceptions for 44 yards—including a dynamic 30-yard pick—showcasing his ball-hawking instincts and coverage tenacity. Among ODU's top DBs, his aggressive playstyle and reliability in locking down receivers make him a prototypical corner with NFL/CFL upside, as evidenced by his pro career trajectory; ideal for teams seeking a high-motor vet who elevates secondaries without injury red flags.
