Alcorn State DB Daniel Franklin brings redshirt-senior size and experience to the Braves’ secondary
Franklin is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound redshirt senior defensive back at Alcorn State, and his main appeal is veteran depth in a physical SWAC secondary. Alcorn’s roster lists him at DB, which signals a player trusted for coverage versatility and special-teams value rather than headline-grabbing stats. Because the available sources do not show detailed 2025 individual production, the best read is that he fits as an experienced, workmanlike defender who can help stabilize a back end and compete for snaps in a scheme that values toughness and reliability.[4][9][10]
